I finally finished my project for “3 Way Calling,” the exhibition in Opole, Poland with Aleksandra Janik and Michael Damm. I am pretty happy about the result. During the process of producing it, as it happens always when I am making something, I got some possibilities to develop this project furthermore. Of course, I could not make those possibilities happen in this show, but those will be my next projects! Please take a look at these photos of the piece.

Summertime
Summertime,
And the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’
And the cotton is high
Your daddy’s rich
And your mamma’s good lookin’
So hush little baby
Don’t you cry
One of these mornings
You’re going to rise up singing
Then you’ll spread your wings
And you’ll take to the sky
But till that morning
There’s a’nothing can harm you
With daddy and mamma standing by
Summertime,
And the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’
And the cotton is high
Your daddy’s rich
And your mamma’s good lookin’
So hush little baby
Don’t you cry
(the lyrics is by DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin)
Opening. The piece is intended to be seen in the day time, but the opening was from 6 pm. I put additional light with yellow filter. First, the viewers were a bit afraid of getting closer!
